This is a two part course consisting of the industry-recognized certification programs, Introduction To Network Cabling-Copper Based Systems, and Introduction To Network Cabling Fiber Optic Based Systems. This hands on course, eligible for a total of 58 BICSI CE Credits, covers commercial and residential cable installation for the converging technologies of data, voice, video, security and alarm, as well as building automation. You will install and test Category-5e, Fiber Optic, and other cable systems in a live enviroment. Likewise, you will learn skills for terminating, testing, and troubleshooting. The course also covers safety concerns, proper tool usage, industry standards, Firestopping, the latest in Twisted Pair Cabling Systems such as Category 6, Class F and more. Students who successfully complete this vendor nutral course will earn Network Cabling Specialist certificates in both Copper and Fiber Optic Cabling. C-Tech's certifications are recognized by many of the most well known industry Organizations.
