Adult Education Courses

CCTC is partnering with the North Central Workforce Investment Board to offer CNC LATHE TRAINING!

The North Central WIB has received a grant called through the Make It In America (MIIA) program and are able to pay for this training out of the funding therefore there is no cost to attend however registration is required and seats are limited. The training sessions are open to dislocated workers, unemployed participants and incumbent workers. Prior manufacturing experience is required however.
Course Name: CNC Lathe Setup and Operations (see second attachment for additional details)
Where: Clearfield County Career and Technology Center 1620 River Road, Clearfield, Pa. 16830
When: October 29 and 30 and November 3 and 4 Time: 5:00 pm – 9:30 pm each evening
A light snack will be provided.
Cost of program: The grant will pay the entire cost of this 4 session training which is $180. If you register and do not attend you will be billed for the total cost of the training however.
Course Name: CNC Lathe G-code Programming, Setup & Operations Applications – Level II
Where: Clearfield County Career and Technology Center 1620 River Road, Clearfield PA 16830
When: November 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13 with Lab on November 17 & 18 Time: 5:00 pm – 9:30 pm each evening A light snack will be provided.
Cost of program: The grant will pay the entire cost of this 8 session training which is $400. If you register and do not attend you will be billed for the total cost of the training however.

Financial Aid

FINANCIAL AID: Clearfield County Career and Technology Center is a participant in PELL Grants, Federal Direct Loans, and other local funding agencies. Funding varies depending on income and family size. You will be required to fill out a Financial Aid Free Student Application (FAFSA) by visiting the website at www.FAFSA.ed.gov. Closings and Delays for Adults

If school is cancelled at CCCTC, adult classes are also cancelled.  If CCCTC is on a 2 hour delay, adults are to report at 10:00 A.M. Please check local radio station such as 102.9, 102.1, Froggy 98, 1620AM, WPHB, as well as www.gantdaily.com and WTAJ-TV10 or WJAC-TV6.
