Algebra-Introduction

Students will study the basics of algebra including equations, like terms, simplifying, order of operations, formulas, solving addition and subtraction.
Course Length: 16 hours





Understanding Investments

Want to make your money work for you? This beginning class will guide the student in investing. The text used will be the New York Institute of Finance. Useful information for beginners and experienced persons.

Objectives
1. How the market works
2. Read and understand stock market listings
3. Difference between NASDAQ, NYSE, and American stock exchange
4. Difference between equity and growth funds
Course Length: 6 hours





Basic Digital Photography

Learn how to operate that digital camera to its maximum. Class will cover all area of digital photography, including how save pictures to your computer and how to print them. Students will need a digital camera.
Course Length: 6 hours





E-Bay Buying and Selling

The student will have the confidence needed to register online at the eBay site and buy, and list and sell merchandise. Class is divided into two sessions: Buying and Selling. Selling requires a prerequisite of taking the eBay buying class first.
Course Length: 6 hours(Buying) 6 Hours(Selling)





Estate Planning

Estate Planning covers all the valuable information you may need to know to make good decisions about a person’s estate and material wealth. Excellent course for those with aging parents or for those want to start planning for the future.
Course Length: 2 hours





Fundamentals of Chemistry With Lab

This course is designed for those who need a basic chemistry course as a pre-requisite for medical and health-related studies.
Course Length: 36 hours



 

Herbal Therapy and Natural Remedies

Herbs have been used since the beginning of mankind.  This course offers a better understanding of how herbs are used as natural remedies, as bodycare products, and as alternative choices for maintaining health and wellness.

How to Create a Family Tree

Have you ever wondered about your ancestors? This course helps you to start digging up information about your family through records and historical data.
Course Length: 3 hours





How to Sell Your Writing Idea

Have your written something and not known exactly where to send it off to be published? This course examines writing and targeting the correct markets for your works.
Course Length: 5 hours





Conversational/Workplace Spanish

Whether you want to learn Spanish for work, vacation or for fun, this is the first step to get on your way. Learn how to speak simple, but useful phrases; and learn how to ask  questions that you will need for work or travel.                                    Course Length: 40 hours

Landscaping-The Basics

The complete basics of lawn installation and soils will be covered, including fertilizer, topsoil and seed requirements and principles. Plant identification, characteristics and needs will be discussed, along with brick paving, retaining walls, weed and insect control, lawn maintenance, and basic design methods.
Course Length: 12 hours

 
 


Water Treatment Plant Operation

This course is designed to train operators in the safe and effective operation and maintenance of drinking water treatment plants.  Volume l emphasizes the knowledge and skills needed by an operator working in a conventional water treatment plant used for treating surface waters.                                         Course Length: 36 hours                                                                                             

 
 

CDL Truck Driving

Get excellent training and earn good money as a CDL Truck Driver. This in-classroom and over-the-road course culminates with a CDL License. Certified by the Professional Truck Driver Institute (PTDI). Entrance requirements include: Class A, CDL Permit; Endorsements T H N; DOT Physical, Drug Testing and a Criminal Background Check.
Course Length: 320 hours
