Basic Block and Brick Laying

The students will be enabled for basic brick laying. This can be as asset to your training at home and in the construction-environment.
Areas covered are:

9. Chimneys and Fireplaces
10. Mortar - Sand - Cement
Course Length: --18 hours

 

Basic Car Care for Women

This course is for women who want to understand the basic mechanical functions of their automobiles and how to spot or repair simple problems.  Areas covered will be how to check your automobile's fluids and tires, and how to know what that rattle, grind or thump sound really means.
Course Length: --9 hours


 
Beginning Blueprint Reading

This course will provide instruction on elementary blueprint reading. Course topics include the basis for the interpretation of industrial drawings, interpretation of lines and symbols, and scale drafting interpretation.
Course Length: 16 hours





Highway Construction Inspector

This course will provide instruction for individuals seeking to become certified in HCI. Topics that are covered in the course are basic math, topographical map reading, earthwork, aggregate surfacing and many others. A certification of training will be issued upon successful completion of the NICET Exam.
Course Length: 32 Weeks (16 Hours Per Week)


Home Repairs for Amateurs

Do you want to stop that leaky faucet, rewire that old lamp, or patch that hole in your wall?  This course will address all those little home repairs that pop up and need the know-how and skills of an expert instructor, but the determination and sweat of the want-a-be handyman.  Students are welcome to offer repair suggestions.
Course Length: 12 hours

Introduction to Precision Machine - Basic and Intermediate

This course will provide basic introduction to machining. It will cover types of machines with some hands-on experience on a lathe, grinding and milling machines. Safety, precision measurement, blueprint reading and related mathematics are emphasized. Safety glasses are needed. Intermediate is a continuation of skills learned in basic.
Course Length: 18 hours





Network Cable Specialist Certification

This 36-hour course gives you work-ready skills using industry standard tools and test equipment. Students will learn how to terminate, test and troubleshoot copper-based network wiring and cabling as well as the theory associated with these networks. The course focuses on tool use, construction techniques, and characteristics of various industry standards, trouble shooting and repairs.
Course Length: 36 hours





PA Mechanic Inspection Certification

This course will provide instruction for individuals seeking to become certified PA State Inspection Mechanics. Classroom and hands-on training will culminate in final test for certification.
Course Length: 16 hours

Learn minor repair and service of gas-powered equipment.

Welding I

The class will cover oxy-ace cutting, welding and shield metal arc welding. It will include proper settings of welding machines, oxy-ace cylinders and selection of proper electrodes.
