CCCTC Truck Driver Training

The Truck Driver Training Program is 220 - 320 hours, depending on class size for an 8-10 week program. The program includes instruction in the classroom and lab, highway, city and range driving time, and observation time on the road. The student will have a minimum of 50 hours behind the wheel time (BTW), 24 hours of road and city driving, and 26 hours of range time. The students will earn their Class A CDL license with Tanker and Double-triple trailer CDL endorsements. Students will also have the option to earn the Hazardous Materials endorsement.  A certificate of training will be issued upon completion of state CDL Testing and receipt of their Class A license.  This program is certified through the Professional Truck Driving Institute (PTDI).

Entrance Requirements

Daytime classes will be held

Monday - Friday

7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

and evening classes

Monday - Thursday

5:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

plus Saturday

 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

   Mandatory two-hour orientation class one week prior to the first day of class.

Job placement assistance is available. Student loans are available for those who qualify. Our graduation rate is 94% and job placement is 96%.                     CCCTC is a member of PMTA (Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association).
